I left a few dozen signs at Occupy over the course of it’s run. I thought it would be a fun social engineering project to leave signs there and see what people gravitated towards. Some were political in nature, a lot of wealth inequality messaging, a dose of public dissidence of course, but most were just words and phrases that spoke to the feelings that disenfranchised people feel, and the mess we were in. Mean people picked up the mean signs, and nice people picked up theirs. Suits picked up the Wall Street greed signs, and the homeless picked up those about inequality. Was very telling. This was one of my favorites, still in tact after weeks on duty.
